HMSA STUDENTS GO TO SEA AGAIN FOR THE 5TH YEAR IN A ROW!

The Ventura-based LifeSail program provided HMSA students a sailing experience for the 5th year in a row! The team built 2 vessels, the OptiVivre and OptiSpace, which were launched in Marina del Rey harbor on June 10th, 2016.

 

 

HMSA STUDENTS GO TO SEA AGAIN FOR THE 4TH YEAR IN A ROW!

The Ventura-based LifeSail program provided HMSA students a sailing experience for the 4th year in a row with the support of the Hawthorne Police Officers Association. The team built 2 vessels, the Opti Demic and Opti Cop, which were launched in Marina del Rey's harbor on May 27th, 2015.

 

SLAM Music Program 

SLAM! at HMSA 

The winter session of Student Leader Advocates of Music (SLAM!) culminated in a recital this past Monday. The weekly classes are taught by UCLA music students. About 40 HMSA students showcased their musical and vocal skills during the recital.
